I have committed so many sins, some of them again and again after promising Allah I would stop . Will Allah still forgive me , or is it too late for me ?

It is never too late while you are alive. The Prophet ﷺ said, “Allah accepts the repentance of a servant as long as the death rattle has not reached his throat” (Jami’ at-Tirmidhi 3537, hasan).

1. Allah forgives all sins

“Say: O My servants who have wronged themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.” (Surah Az-Zumar 39:53)

Allah calls even sinners “My servants.”

2. Repeating a sin does not close the door

The Prophet ﷺ told of a servant who sinned and said, “My Lord, I have sinned, so forgive me.” Allah said, “My servant knows he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for them. I have forgiven My servant.” The servant sinned again and asked again, and each time Allah forgave him (Sahih al-Bukhari 7507, Sahih Muslim 2758).

Allah praises those who “do not persist in what they did while they know” (Surah Ali ‘Imran 3:135). The sin is not what harms you most; giving up on repentance is.

3. Tawbah can turn sins into good deeds

“Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous deeds. For them, Allah will replace their evil deeds with good ones.” (Surah Al-Furqan 25:70)

How to make sincere tawbah

Stop the sin.
Feel real regret.
Make a firm intention not to return.
Return any right you took from someone, or ask their forgiveness.

Then follow it with good deeds, and keep your hope in Allah’s mercy.
