Surah Al-Fatihah (الفاتحة)
Surah Al-Fatihah — “The Opener” — is the 1st surah (chapter) of the Holy Qur'an. It has 7 verses (ayat), was revealed in Makkah, and is found in Juz 1 (pages 1–1 of the standard Madani mushaf). It is also searched for as Surah Fatiha or Surah Al Fatiha.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ﴿1﴾
1. In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ ﴿2﴾
2. [All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds -
ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ﴿3﴾
3. The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,
مَٰلِكِ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ ﴿4﴾
4. Sovereign of the Day of Recompense.
إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ ﴿5﴾
5. It is You we worship and You we ask for help.
ٱهْدِنَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ ﴿6﴾
6. Guide us to the straight path -
صِرَٰطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ ٱلْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ ﴿7﴾
7. The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray.
