Surah At-Takathur (التكاثر)
Surah At-Takathur — “The Rivalry in world increase” — is the 102nd surah (chapter) of the Holy Qur'an. It has 8 verses (ayat), was revealed in Makkah, and is found in Juz 30 (pages 600–600 of the standard Madani mushaf).

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
أَلْهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ ﴿1﴾
1. Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you
حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ ٱلْمَقَابِرَ ﴿2﴾
2. Until you visit the graveyards.
كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ﴿3﴾
3. No! You are going to know.
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ﴿4﴾
4. Then no! You are going to know.
كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ ٱلْيَقِينِ ﴿5﴾
5. No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty...
لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ ﴿6﴾
6. You will surely see the Hellfire.
ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ ٱلْيَقِينِ ﴿7﴾
7. Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty.
ثُمَّ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ ﴿8﴾
8. Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure.
